Mutabloom terms of use

Mutabloom is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple's standard End User Licence Agreement for applications. What follows adds to it in the places that are specific to this game. Where the two disagree, the paragraph here is the one we intend to be held to.
What Mutabloom sells
The game is free to download and free to play through. It sells four kinds of thing, all of them through Apple:
- Remove Ads, bought once, which permanently removes the interrupting ads. It keeps the optional rewarded ads available on purpose — Support explains why at length.
- Gardener's Pass, a subscription, monthly or annual.
- Gems, the in-game currency, which can also be earned by playing.
- Permanent extras and cosmetics: extra plots and pet slots, a tool that raises sell values, pots, fences, garden themes and the like.
Purchases are tied to your Apple Account and can be restored from Settings → Restore Purchases inside the game on any device signed in to that account. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, not by us.
Subscriptions
A Gardener's Pass renews automatically at the end of each period unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends, and your Apple Account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before it starts. Manage or cancel it in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions; cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves the current period running to its end. We cannot cancel it for you, and deleting the app does not cancel it.
What a Pass gives you is listed in the game at the point of purchase, and what it gives is convenience and cosmetics. It is not required to finish anything.
Gems, plants and everything else in the game
Gems and in-game items are a limited licence to use them inside Mutabloom. They are not your property, not currency, have no cash value, cannot be sold, traded or transferred to another person or account, and cannot be exchanged for money by us or anybody else. Buying and selling accounts or items outside the game is not permitted, and we will not restore what you lose doing it.
Mutabloom is a live game. Prices, drop rates, event schedules, balance numbers and the contents of the shop change over time, sometimes without an app update, and features may be added, changed or retired. Where a change materially reduces something you paid real money for, we will say so in the game rather than let you find out.
Every egg bought with gems shows its odds before you buy it. That is a commitment, not a courtesy.
Playing fairly
Please do not modify the game, tamper with its saved data, use tools to automate play, or try to manufacture progress you did not earn — including by moving your device clock, which the game notices and ignores. Leaderboards are shared with other people, and entries we believe were not earned by playing may be removed. Persistent tampering may cost you access to leaderboards and other online features.
Game Center
Leaderboards, achievements and challenges use Apple's Game Center, and Apple's terms cover your Game Center account. Everything except those features works without it.
Advertising
The game is paid for by ads, described in the privacy policy. Ads come from Google and their content is not written, chosen or reviewed by us in advance. If you are shown something inappropriate, report it — Support has the steps — and we will act on it.
What we do not promise
Mutabloom is provided as it is. We test it, we will fix what we can, and we will keep it working on current iPhones for as long as it is reasonable to. We cannot promise it will never fail, never lose a session, or run for ever, and nothing here is a promise about future content beyond what the game already contains. Nothing in these terms takes away rights the consumer law where you live gives you, whatever it says.
Age
Mutabloom is made for adults. It is not a children's app, it is not in the Kids Category, and it is not directed to children.
